ANATOLIAN FELTS

Felts in neutral colours, handed down from the nomads who migrated centuries ago from the deserts of Turkmenistan towards Central Anatolia. The decorations of these felts, once covered with ancient geometric protective symbols, evolved at the beginning of the twentieth century into Matisse-like floral designs.
